Discontent is reason enough for change. Pain is a signal that should be interpreted carefully. Rock bottom is a solid foundation upon which you should seriously consider building anew. In fact, the sense of discontent, alienation, and pain you might feel when you hit (or near) “rock bottom,” might be exactly what you need to set yourself forward on a different, better path.
